Here at Vila, we help you with Student Visas to Brazil
If you have plans to study Portuguese in Brazil for more than three months, we can provide the documents for you to apply for a student visa for Brazil at the Brazilian consulate or embassy in your country.
Brazilian visas are never granted in Brazil. Itamaraty is the Brazilian government agency responsible for granting visas, which is done through the Brazilian Embassies, Consulates-General, Consulates and Vice-Consulates abroad.
How to get your visa
Each country has different requirements for issuing a student visa to Brazil. First, you need to contact the Brazilian Embassy/Consulate in your country to know the requirements for obtaining this visa. Regarding studies, generally, the Brazilian government requires people to study 15 hours per week.
To begin the process of issuing the documentation we need the following:
- Exact course period, with start and end date.
- Digital copy of the student's passport.
- Payment of 50% of the total course fee, by PayPal, bank transfer between Brazilian banks, or bank slip.
- After confirmation of payment, we issue the Letter of Acceptance and send it digitally or by mail, if your country's embassy requires the physical document. The fee for sending the documentation is the student's responsibility.
